Project
The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong record of
capital planning and fiscal, financial and project management with the
ability to plan and administer complex financial operations and
coordinate multiple functions within a complex organization in
high-pressure situations requiring sound decision making on sensitive
and confidential matters. Reporting to the Chief Business Officer, the
candidate will also liaison with Chief Facilities Executives, ensuring that
capital planning for non-GO bond (General Obligation Bond) funded
investments effectively complement the District’s significantly larger GO
bond-funded program. The candidate must be current on relevant State
laws, the California School Accounting Manual, Governmental
Accounting Standards Board guidelines, and other laws, regulations and
standards affecting school district financial affairs. Furthermore, the
candidate will be able to execute the District’s capital planning strategies,
in alignment with the organization’s overall goals and objectives,
managing the application of financial modeling to support capital
allocation and deployment.

Job Description:
We seek an experienced Public Sector Sales Manager to sell our products within the Los Angeles footprint. You will be responsible for developing a public-sector sales pipeline, managing relationships with governmental agencies and government officials, developing strategic public-sector partnerships, and helping to drive growth and utilization of the platform. The Public Sector Sales Manager is responsible for selling our financial services platform to civic entities and organizations. They will lead the sales cycle from discovery to implementation. This role is based in LA and reports to a Sales Director. The range is $90,000-105,000.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Passionate about financial equity and the role of public-private partnerships in serving financially underserved communities
- Source and prepare RFP bids for disbursement opportunities to generate revenue
- Ensure the RFP bid is feasible through product knowledge or our internal product prioritization process to size the opportunity; house RFPs in Loopio
- Brainstorm and create a tailored proposal that meets the needs of potential civic partners
- Become the SME for each MoCaFi product offering and confidently display knowledge throughout the sales cycle
- Lead interactions of customer expectations through the negotiation process
- Manage a growing team of civic engagement managers or sales analysts
- Utilize Claritysoft as a CRM tool to capture all client relationship data
Job Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in Public Sector industries, covering Government, nonprofit, and Healthcare verticals
- Government contracting experience of 2 years or more
- Experience pitching to Social Programs and Compliance agencies
- Comfortable with ambiguity. This role and associated responsibilities are likely to shift and be flexible due to the nature of the work and the ongoing development of the company’s strategy
- Compliance-focused and organized
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to interface effectively with employees and customers of all levels

Position Summary: As an Analyst or Associate with a 1-5+ years of experience, you will be part of Omnicap’s municipal advisory and investment advisory team, providing the senior advisory team with quantitative support to our municipal clients. DBC and Excel spreadsheet experience is necessary. Opportunities to assist on derivative modeling and advisory of investment portfolios. You will assist with the creation of proposals and business development and provide general support to the financial advisory team. Training will be provided but prior experience is required and applicant must be proficient in DBC and Microsoft Excel, have a general understanding of public finance including debt transactions and basic financial concepts including present value analyses. Preferred Qualification:

Required Education and Licenses:
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university with emphasis in accounting or finance (or equivalent experience). Series 50 and Series 65 licenses (or equivalent) a plus.
Required Experience:
1-5 years’ experience.
